i loved the 1st film. people were comparing it to taxi driver and I never saw it. so I checked that out as well. loved both. cant believe how the 2nd turned out. but glad i listened to the reviews and didnt go and see it.. the minute I heard "musical" i was out

We didn't love Arthur Fleck because he murdered people we sympathized with him because of how he was treated by society and how hard his life was. He was a character who we knew was doing bad things but we still had empathy for him and could understand his rationale. Todd Phillips with Joker 2 literally did the same crap Neil Druckmann did with Joel in The Last of Us Part II. Joel was a flawed man but the world took his daughter from him and we understood why he did what he did. Then the sequel happened and completely undercut everything the first game was about. I despise both Joker: Fellate a Douche and The Last of Us: Fart II.

This movie was made this bad on purpose & everything was done to spite the fans of the first movie. I don't even have to watch it to know that. As soon as I heard musical & they were making a sequel to a movie that didn't need a sequel I was out.

Not too surprised at all. I like the first Joker film back in 2019 and Joaquin Phoenix is still my second favorite Joker after the late Heath Ledger. However, I wasn’t bothered seeing Joker 2 since I heard it was poorly received by both critics and audiences alike. The negative criticism also caused Joker 2 to bomb so badly at the box office. It didn’t help the fact that Joker 2 got nominated for the Razzie Awards. Joker should’ve stay as a standalone film. Same with another Todd Phillips movie, the comedy film The Hangover. The first Hangover film was hilarious and one of the most funniest movies of all time while the two Hangover sequels, not so much. Todd Phillips is really bad at making sequels.

Whenever I see Michael make that face-the sort of face a doctor makes when a patient refuses to follow the simplest instructions-I know we're in for a hilarious pan of a genuinely awful movie.

I feel the same way. I saw this movie when it first came out on MAX. I didn't care if this movie got made or not. I was originally going to see it in the movie theater. I never got to see it in the movie theater because this movie was being shown in the movie theater of my area for two weeks. After seeing it on MAX, I now know why it was playing in my movie theater of my area for two weeks, lol. After seeing it on MAX, I'm glad that, I didn't see it in the movie theater. While I was watching it on MAX, the movie made me feel bored, lol.

_Joker: Three's Company_ Jack Tripper rents an apartment with the DCEU and Matt Reeves Jokers. Jack Tripper tragically trips over a deck of cards left out by the DCEU Joker during a trip to Ace Chemicals and falls into a vat of acid, turning into the third Joker. Chaos ensues. Disclaimer: Film is not a musical, but does feature the song "The Jack" by AC/DC.

Joker 2 was a disservice to the first one. The musical aspect sucked, and I cringed in my seat every time a musical scene came on. Yeah, there is no payoff to this movie whatsoever.

I don't blame James Gunn for ignoring this movie when it came out lmao. He offered Todd Phillips collaboration to help make the best movie possible during production. However, Phillips (who is in his 50s, btw) ignored his boss and acted like a child. "I don't want anything to do with DC." Then don't make DC movies! 🤦‍♂️🤣

This is the worst movie of 2024, and this time, I am not even joking one bit when I say this. Madame Web, The Crow remake, Kraven the Hunter, Borderlands, Megalopolis, Rebel Moon Part Two, all of these films are better than Joker 2.

The director openly said he hates the fans and their reception of the first movie. He wanted to make a movie to show how much he disliked them.

Joker 2 has joined that esteemed list of film sequels on the level of Alien 3. What a trash movie!

Jack nicholson's movie is aging like wine. And the 2010 movie seems like a banger compared this. I didn't like Upgrade or Invisible Man. Setting the film in the woods instantly lowered the potential. I want to see the Wolfman in the city.
